The Associate of Applied Science degree in Radio Broadcasting is designed to help you develop an on-air presence and the technical skills needed for positions in this growing industry. Business aspects of broadcasting are illuminated, including station management and sales. The program at Brown College also explores the relationship between broadcasting and the Internet, and includes an internship or practicum project.
There are a number of opportunities for employment at a radio station. Some of the are Audio production director, Newscaster, On-air talent, Producer, Radio newscaster, Media sales account executive and Sports play-by-play announcer and reporter.
